Description

Paul Melehan, Upper Hunter Landcare Coordinator, will discuss ways to identify and control some invasive weeds and things you need to know about biosecurity on your property. Priority weeds include tiger pear, madeira vines, african love grass, tree of heaven, bridal creeper, parramatta grass and lantana .

Roy Palmer, local landowner will discuss the value of biocontrol and some alternate ways to control weeds from his experiences.

Rose Porter, Biodiversity Conservation Trust, will discuss the assistance available to help control weeds to help you improve biodiversity and how to establish a protected conservation area on your property.
