Description

As part of National Heritage Week 2018 the Waters and Communities Office in conjunction with Aengus Kennedy of Nature Northwest and Grassroutes Cycles are organising a cycle of the Glaskeelan Catchment.

The Cycle will take in the sights, sounds and natural heritage of this beautiful area. On the cycle we will find out more about the water catchment and discover what makes the Glaskeelan one of 12 project areas for Fresh Water Pearl Mussels in Ireland.

Bike hire will be provided, along with a bus transfer to the Glebe Gallery with a 9km cycle back to Glenveagh National Park.

The event is sponsored by the Waters and Communities Office with bike hire provided.
