Description

This half day event will focus on the commercial opportunity for
biomass heating with the introduction of the Government’s
“Support Scheme for Renewable Heat” (SSRH) administered by the
Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). This will be a
discussion event at the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon. In
the morning there will be presentations from key biomass industry
specialists on technical and financial considerations including
Seán Finan, CEO of the Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA) who will
focus on the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH). After
Lunch there will be an optional visit to the nearby Aura Carrick on
Shannon Leisure Centre where you will hear from Aura about their
experience operating a Froling 320kW Froling Turbomat boiler and you will see a
fuelling demonstration by Mark Hanley of Greengrove Wood Energy
Ltd who will also talk through fuel supply options.
