Feel calm, peaceful and restored when you join us for a blissful breathing and cacao ceremony.
About this event
Are you feeling under pressure? Tired? Looking for solace?
When we breathe calmly and deeply everything changes: we feel peaceful, we let go of stress and anxiety, our health improves, we feel blissful and open.
When we combine blissful breathing with drinking cacao in ceremony everything deepens: our body releases tension and worry, our mind becomes quiet, we can feel incredible love and compassion.
How this began...
Over the past few years, Josie Uí Mhurchú(my wife and ceremonial cacao facilitator) discovered something. When we added cacao to our breathing practise, we felt profound benefits: more patience, better able to deal with pressure, improved mood, more openness and acceptance of whatever was happening. We want to share this experience with you.
What you'll get
Over the two hours, you will be guided through a cacao ceremony by Josie. You will be given cacao to drink and Josie will take us on a guided meditation with this beloved and sacred plant medicine. Find out more about ceremonial cacao.
We will also combine this with deeply restorative blissful breathing guided by me. During this part of the ceremony, we will use our breathing to change for the better how we feel and think.

Frequently asked questions
How do I prepare for the workshop?
Try not to eat directly before the event: beginning with an empty stomach is best. As well, try to avoid caffeine and dairy beforehand if possible.
Health concerns?
If you have any health concerns, or questions about if this event is suitable for you, please contact me.
Are you a vegan?
Please let us know so we don't mistakenly add honey to your cacao!
What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?
The venue is five minute walk from Booterstown Dart station. Lots of buses stop on the Rock Road nearby. It is a 20-minute cycle from the city centre to Booterstown.
Grotto Avenue (and the venue) is just around the corner (if you're heading towards town) from the Punchbowl Pub.
The best place to park is along the Rock Road. Please do not park outside the venue on Grotto Avenue. It is a very small road and the residents justifiably complain when people park across their driveways. So, please park on the Rock Road or nearby St Helen's Road.
