NOTICE: The Emergency Services 'Blue Light Summit' will be held online due to recent developments on the COVID-19 outbreak.
The new date is 10th and 11th September 2021.
The emergency services training seminar; ‘Blue Light Summit’ will take place online from Co. Mayo on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September 2021. The new date will allow emergency, medical and frontline staff, currently active in Covid duties, to attend the event online when measures begin to ease later in the year.
The two-day ‘Blue Light Summit’ is a training seminar for the . emergency and voluntary services sectors, community first responders, private ambulance operators and security services, local authority staff in the fire service, civil defence, safety, IT, community and environment.
The event is supported by Mayo County Council, National Ambulance Service, Mayo Garda Division, Mayo Fire & Rescue Service and the Emergency Times magazine.
Registered is FREE and delegates will receive a link to the online event.
Presentations will be delivered by by nationally recognised, standard and professional course providers and training instructors.

As this event is online, due to the current pandemic, our plans to include another key aspect of the ‘Blue Light Summit’ of a trade and exhibition show will be included in another event when Covid restrictions are lifted and everyone is permitted for indoor events. In future events, the trade and exhibition area will be a must visit to every delegates as it provides a unique opportunity for them to meet with the suppliers, manufacturers and developers of the various PPE, equipment, tools, vehicles, IT, Communications and HazMat materials etc, all of which are used on a daily basis by personnel and volunteers within the ‘blue light’ and frontline services as part of their role.
