"Understanding Governance and the Board’s role - Trustees’ Training"
*Please note that this training will be facilitated online via Zoom. This full-day course will be facilitated over two half-days from 5.30pm-8.30pm. Attendees will be required to participate in both sessions in order to receive the CPD hours. Due to limited capacity, if you are unable to attend one of the sessions, you will not be transferred to a future session*
This training provides a comprehensive overview of the role and responsibilities of not-for-profit board trustees/directors and is tailored towards prospective, new, and existing board trustees/directors looking to strengthen their role on the Board.
The training is led by Gráinne Madden (BA Hons, MBA). Gráinne is an expert in corporate responsibility and business ethics and an experienced trainer and facilitator. She runs a specialist consultancy helping businesses avoid problems, enhance reputation and harness their power to improve society. She is also an experienced not-for-profit NED. She teaches the Business in Society module on the Trinity College MBA programme.
