Our Sponsor
Banking and Payments Federation are delighted to host our flagship Annual Retail Banking Conference 2023 – ‘An Evolving Retail Banking Landscape’, on Monday 12th June 2023 at The Marker Hotel, Dublin from 8.30am – 12.30pm, in association with EY.
As the Irish retail banking sector faces a key inflection point, join us and our expert speaker line up to debate the many factors, challenges and opportunities ahead for the sector.
Key speakers on the day will include Minister for Finance, Michael McGrath, T.D.; Jose Manuel Campa, Chairperson, EBA (European Banking Authority); Sharon Donnery, Central Bank of Ireland; Oliver Gilvarry, Assistant Secretary, Banking & Financial Stability Division, Department of Finance, Colin Hunt, CEO, AIB among others.
Programme highlights
The recent exits from the Irish retail banking environment, swiftly changing customer preferences and increasing competition from non-banks and new technology-based market entrants has resulted in an evolved retail banking market.
We will ask what this means for the future of retail banking in Ireland and consider how the retail banking sector can meet the expectations of customers, regulators, shareholders, and society through a customer centric approach which prioritises long-term customer and societal value.
In addition, we will hear regulators, policy makers and market practitioners speak to the extensive regulatory and compliance obligations and the growing importance of funding the transition to the green economy now and into the future.
As always, the conference will also afford participants a valuable opportunity to network with peers from across the banking and wider financial services industry.
