We are delighted to once again host the Annual BPW Candlelighting Supper on Friday February 28th in the Ardilaun Hotel. This event is one of the highlights of the BPW calendar  held in each club worldwide in February of every year in a special tribute to one of the world’s most influential organisations.  The International Federation of Business and Professional Women, which unites women around the world. Although its members speak in many languages and live in countries with differing traditions they share the same determination of purpose.

This year's event will commence with a drinks reception, followed by a delicious supper, and lots of socialising, the perfect way to unwind after a busy week, meet new people and join in the International Celebration that is the BPW Candlelighting Supper.

Guest speakers on the night are Niamh Gallagher and Michelle O’Donnell Keating co-founders of Women for Election  Women for Election is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organisation whose vision is of an Ireland with balanced participation of women and men in political life. We look forward to welcoming Niamh and Michelle to Galway and what we expect to be a lively and interesting insight to improving representation for women in power and decision-making roles; which is also central to our own BPW Ethos ~ to share, educate and give a voice to women.
