About this event
Castlegregory Celtic FC's 'Couch to 5k' initiative with Shona Heaslip, supported by the Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership.
📅 Starting on Tuesday 14th of June, once a week for 5 weeks with a start time of 6:00pm at Castlegregory Celtic FC (Eircode V92 WE51)
This programme is open to all levels of fitness.
✅ Open to all ages, male & female
✅ Meet together once a week and follow a programme plan until the next session
In conjunction with the Kerry Recreation Sports Partnership and Sport Ireland, Castlegregory Celtic FC are offering members of the general public a chance to get active and participate in a couch to 5k programme including 5 x 1 hour sessions with Shona Heaslip at their home venue in Castlegregory for just €10.
Experience being part of a group and get a little more active in a structured programme, designed to get you from couch to 5k over the 5 weeks - with a target of potentially taking part in the Brandon Bay Run 5km on Saturday 16th July at the end of this programme!
Increased physical activity can help people lose weight, help prevent loneliness and positively affect overall mental and physical health.
