About this event
It is not what happens between people is the cause of conflict, but what happens within each person – whether the conflict is between husband and wife, mother and child, father and child, friend and friend, teacher and student and manager and employee. The German poet Rilke puts it well when he wrote: “Everything terrible is something crying out for love.” As children, we necessarily lived our lives from the outside-in as we were dependent on our parents; as adults when we find psychological safety, we begin the exciting journey of living our lives from the inside-out. Tony will demonstrate how the source of human suffering is in not having been given the opportunity to tell our story and how the telling of our story is the breakthrough to living our lives from the inside-out.
