Description

On December the 13th, the DCU Brexit Institute will host an event on ‘Brexit, the Backstop and the Island of Ireland’.

The event will feature an opening keynote from John Bruton (Former Taoiseach of Ireland).

This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Sorcha Eastwood (Alliance Party), Bobby McDonagh (DFA) Chloe Papazian (DCU) and Owen Reidy (ICTU). The panel will be chaired by Fintan O’Toole (The Irish Times).

The closing plenary will be provided by Giuliano Amato (Former Prime Minister of Italy; former Vice President of European Convention; Justice of the Italian Constitutional Court).

**This is a Free Event**

However, those attending the event can gain credit of four hours of CPD (Continuous Professional Development). Participants who paid a registration fee of 90 euros will receive a certificate of attendance. For more information, please contact brexit.institute@dcu.ie.
