This talk will be delivered by ecologist Daithaí Lavelle from Woodrow Sustainable Solutions, Sligo.
Have you ever fed the birds? What about building them a home? Learn how to create new habitat for the small birds which visit your garden. By the end of the workshop participants will be able to assemble their own bird-box and each family will be able to take one home.
Be sure to dress for the weather!
Sligo Children's Community Garden is located on Cleveragh Drive near Sligo Regional Park. Directions can be found on Google Maps by entering the plus code 7G6W+62.
Parking on the day will be limited so it is advised to park in Sligo Regional Park and walk to the Community Garden (5 minutes).
And only one building workshop per family please.
