Dr Kristen Haase: Assistant Professor, College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan

Dr Amanda Drury: Research Fellow, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin

Dr Kristen Haase is a nurse scientist and assistant professor in the college of nursing at the University of Saskatchewan and an affiliated researcher with the Saskatchewan Centre for patient-oriented research. Dr Haase has a program of research focused on optimizing the cancer experience with two main interests: supporting older adults and their caregivers throughout the cancer trajectory and leveraging appropriate technologies to support care.

Dr Amanda Drury is a Research Fellow affiliated with the Trinity Centre for Practice and Healthcare Innovation (TCPHI), in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin. She is a registered general nurse and completed her PhD in 2018 with funding from Health Research Board Research Training Fellowship for Healthcare Professionals. Amanda’s programme of research seeks to understand the factors which may influence cancer patients’ and survivors’ experiences of care, unmet needs and health-related outcomes.
