Work off the festive indulgence and enjoy a breath of fresh sea air this St. Stephen’s Day! Join us for the Bull Run/Walk, proudly hosted by the Irish Amateur Wrestling Association (IAWA) and the Dollymount Sea Scouts.

Whether you’re a casual walker, a first-time runner, or a seasoned competitor, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Bring your family—and your four-legged friends—for a fun, active, and meaningful post-Christmas morning!

📋 Event Details

Location: 5th Port Dollymount Sea Scout Den, Bull Island, Dollymount, Dublin (Eircode: D03 NR22)
Check-In: 10:00am – 10:45am

Start Times:

• 👟 Walkers (4km course): 10:45am
• 🏃 Runners (7.5km course): 11:00am

Routes:

• Walkers will enjoy a scenic 4km coastal stroll.
• Runners will take on a 7.5km beach route with stunning views along Dollymount Strand.

🏅 Prize Giving & Super Spot Draw

Starts at 12:30pm at the Scout Den.
Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following running categories:

Running Categories:

• Senior: Male, Female
• Juniors: Under 15, 16–17
• Seniors: 18–45,
• Veterans 46+
• Super Veterans 60+

🎁 All participants are automatically entered into the Super Spot Prize Draw after the official prize-giving!

Event Ends: 1:30pm

💶 Registration & Fees

• Individual Entry: €15
• Family Rate: €35 (for 2 adults + 2 children under 18 from the same household)

Can’t attend? Donations are always welcome and deeply appreciated!

🚗 Getting There

Head towards Dollymount Beach via the wooden bridge in Clontarf.
After crossing, look for the white building with green gates on your left — this is the Scout Den.
Pass the Bull Cottages and take an immediate left into the car park.
