About this Event
The goal for this event is to inform attendees about financial supports that people with disabilities can access when becoming self-employed. The webinar will feature speakers who will inform you about enterprise and financial supports currently available in Ireland for business start-ups.
The webinar will take the following format:
Moderator - Prof Tom Cooney (TU Dublin)
12.00 - 12.10 - Minister Anne Rabbitte TD - Minister Rabbitte is Minister of State with responsibility for Disability at the Department of Health and the Department of Justice and Equality
12.10 - 12.20 - Eoghan Hanrahan (Enterprise Ireland) will discuss supports that are available through Enterprise Ireland, Local Enterprise Offices and other enterprise support agencies.
12.20 - 12.30 - Garrett Stokes (MicroFinance Ireland) will talk about the loan packages available from MFI and other sources of finance.
12.30 - 12.40 - Caroline O'Shaughnessy (Cumas Ceangal) will talk about her journey to start a social enterprise that supports people with disabilities who wish to start a business.
12.40 - 13.00 - Questions from the audience
The webinar is being organised by the Dublin Regional Enterprise Plan to 2020 and is being hosted by The Open Doors Initiative. The event is FREE and registration is available through the Eventbrite link.
