Event Details

This month, we bring our #CaminoTraining to Newry in Northern Ireland, on the 24th of March at 10am.

We’ll meet at the Newry and Mourne Museum car park and start with a 30 minute introduction, gentle stretch and provide some Camino advice. Then we’ll hop on a coach and drive to the Portadown entrance to the canal and begin our walk back towards the museum and Newry.

Book your place today for €10 which goes entirely to our partnered charities.

Walk Details

This scenic route passes through a conservation area and runs alongside a centuries-old canal – the first of its kind to be built in Ireland or Great Britain. The path is paved the entire way, and we’ll stop at Scarva Visitor Centre for a slice of cake and some tea. Then it’s on past even more Victorian curiosities, including tearooms, an aqueduct and Town Hall, before reaching the end.

Organiser

Follow the Camino

Follow the Camino organises walking and cycling holidays in Europe for adventure seekers from all over the world. Since 2006, we’ve offered a great range of manageable walks and cycles for all age groups, in particular on the famous Camino de Santiago. We were the first ever tour operator to operate the Camino de Santiago by creating manageable sections along the main routes to Santiago de Compostela. We are often copied but never equalled!
