Campa Locha Riach (Gaelscoil Riabhach) 2022

Tá taithí scór bliana ag Gaeilge Locha Riach ar champa Gaeilge a reachtáil i mBaile Locha Riach. An samhradh seo beidh an campa i nGaelscoil Riabhach arís.

Gaeilge Locha Riach has successfully established a proven track record of offering a fun and child-centred Irish language summer camp in Loughrea for close to twenty years. This summer we are bringing our ‘Campa Samhraidh’ back to Gaelscoil Riabhach. Our camp is specially designed for primary-school children, between the ages of 8 and 13, who are able to speak Irish.

We immerse our camp members in the Irish language over the course of the camp. Children will be taught the Irish they need for all the camp’s activites. These activities will include sport and drama, dancing, music and plenty of art activities. During the summer holidays we can improve and practice our Irish and enjoy ourselves – playing hurling, soccer, basketball, rounder’s, obstacle courses, uni-hoc and treasure hunts. The children are expected to speak Irish during the camp.

Tá costas €130 in aghaidh an pháiste ar an gcampa don choicís agus €65 don chéad seachtain amháin. Tá lascainí ar fáil don dara/ tríú pháiste.

The cost of the camp is €130 per child for the full two weeks and €65 for the first week only. It is not possible to book for the second week only. When you enrol your child to the camp you will receive further correspondence from us prior to the end of June. The camp will comply fully with HSE and government guidelines to minimise the risk from Covid-19.
