About this Event

The SME sector has always had challenges financing their businesses, a situation not helped by the uncertainty Brexit has introduced. However, using new technologies and novel ways of engaging with borrowers, a new wave of lenders has emerged. Who are these players and how are they using technology to help provide for finance small and medium sized enterprises?

To address this questions, the Fintech and Payments Association of Ireland, in proud association with Grenke Invoice Finance, has gathered some of the industry's leading players who will share their perspectives on developments.

We will also discuss the macro-economic outlook for Ireland, in a post-Brexit, post-election scenario. Joining us will be:

Conor O'Toole, Senior Research Officer, ESRI

Eoin Christian, Managing Director, Grenke Invoice Finance

Sorcha Mulligan, Founder, The SME Chain

Colin Canny, Head of Originations, Flender

Mark O'Rourke, Managing Director, Bibby Financial Services

We are also delighted to welcome Head of Brand Marketing, Flender, and Irish and Lions rugby legend Jamie Heaslip to the event. With the Six Nations upon us, Jamie will share his thoughts on Ireland's chances against England!
