This event is for everyone involved in caring for or who is preparing to care for teenagers. Teenage mental and emotional health concerns have been on the rise since Covid. Current support within our hospitals is at full stretch and therefore we all have a need to upskill in the care we provide.

On the evening we will be joined by Dr Carol Watson. Dr Watson gained her medical degree from Queens University, spent a number of years at home full-time before returning to work part time as a Psychiatrist with the community mental health teams in Cavan and Monaghan.

The evening itself will include a presentation on how everyone responsible for caring for teenagers can help them cope and even grow during these difficult years. This will be followed by a time for Q&A.

About the organizer

As a new church for the D13 area, we're made up from locals who want to encourage everyone to (re)consider the importance of Christianity in their daily lives. We are big on families and have age specific ministries and we consider ourselves to be one big family too, so everyone will be able to find their place as they explore more about the faith Jesus taught.
