Event description
Savour the taste of locally crafted Gins, as you cruise the majestic Carlingford Lough onboard our Summer Gin Tasting Cruises!

About this event

Carlingford Lough is an area of outstanding natural beauty and your backdrop for a unique local craft Gin Cruise. Described as a combination of science and nature, we are delighted to partner with Symphonia Gin, to create these unique summer cruises.

Symphonia is a range of handcrafted Gins, where each symphony will charm, fascinate, inspire and exhilarate! Learn about the bespoke process that combines science and art, with the careful balance of botanicals and flavours to create their range of unique Gin combinations that you can enjoy as you cruise the iconic Carlingford Lough.

Meet the Gin experts from 'The Woodlab Distillery' and learn the secrets behind their award winning 'Symphonia Gin' range, as you sample each and learn about the best mixers to suit each.

What included:

A welcome gin cocktail as you board and settle down for an evening of entertainment!

4 Different Gin Tastings with selected mixers which includes Symphonia Dry Gin, Apple Gin, Symphonia Fruit Cup and Symphonia Apple Rum.

Each Gin Tasting will be accompanied by a selected Poachers Tonic Mixer

After the tasting enjoy one of Symphonia's Signature Cocktails!

You will also receive a £5 discount voucher which can be used against the purchase of any of their 700ml range of Gins!

Guests will be seated at picnic tables for the Gin Tasting event. Tickets will be sold as private table or shared tables. Each picnic table seats four people and individual seats also can be purchased and allocated to a particular table. Should you require a booking for 3 or 5 people, simply book a full table for 4 or shared table for 2 and add an individual seat.

Afterwards, enjoy live music as we cruise the iconic Carlingford Lough, with its panoramic views of the Cooley Peninsula and the majestic Mourne Mountains. These cruises take us along the Southern shoreline, past the medieval town of Carlingford with its picturesque marina and imposing King John's Castle. On the Northern shoreline, enjoy panoramic views of Greencastle Royal Castle, and Rostrevor Bay, as the sun sets on the majestic Cooley Peninsula and Mourne Mountain region.

Board the cruises at our terminals at either Greenore, Co. Louth or Greencastle, Co. Down, and begin your cruise along this panoramic Lough area. Keep an eye out for Finn, Carlingford Lough's resident dolphin as we depart. He's sure to pop up and say hello!
