Dublin Tech Talks & Workhuman are proudly celebrating Womens International Day 2020

Dublin Tech Talks & Workhuman are working together to bring you a day of inspiring and thought provoking speakers supporting the #IWD2020 key theme; #EachforEqual.

To help support our charity partner Saoirse Womens Refuge - there will be a charge of €25 per ticket with limited availability - all proceeds will be going to our charity partner .

Your entry fee will get you Sandwiches / Tea or Coffee on arrival with 4 hours of talks

The sessions will focus on communication, well-being, personal brand, building high performing teams and endeavor to ensure everyone will get strong take-away content

We are delighted to announce Kelly Becker, Country President, Ireland at Schneider Electric as our marquee speaker

Kelly is among the women who make up 30pc of the top executive roles worldwide, reporting directly to Schneider Electric's CEO Jean-Pascal Tricoire. Before taking up the role of country president of Schneider Electric Ireland in April, Becker spent 10 years in Chicago, having worked her way up to vice-president of the industrial giant's power solutions division in the US. There, 63pc of her leadership team were women, and Becker believes that diversity in gender, race and experience gave her team the type of fresh perspectives that helped drive growth.

Kelly is focused on delivering EcoStruxure products and software to the Irish market, targeting data centres, healthcare operations, smart homes, offices and other areas.

Kelly will be talking through her journey to where she is now and offer her thoughts on all our topics from the day.

Andrea is Executive Board Member for, Women in Technology and Science (WITS) Ireland and senior director for Workhuman. She is a thought-leader and disruptor, passionate about bringing others into focus, sponsoring and mentoring all kinds of humans, to ensure they do the best work of their lives! She is committed to advancing Women in STEM, through initiatives such as TeenTurn. Andrea will be sharing her thoughts on WID main theme #EachforEqual

Maurice is MD of Unleash Potential. He helps scaling disruptive start-ups grow globally through the use of effective Leadership & Coaching Strategies. Maurice’s leadership and strategy execution skills have been recognised by the many National and International Awards. Maurice is an accomplished, engaging, entertaining and powerful Conference Speaker. Maurice focus on exploring and unlocking their inner power in order to reach their full potential and to add value to their organisations. Maurice will discuss communication and building your personal brand.

Samantha is Country Head of Denmark - Google Customer Solutions & Project Manager - Central Strategy and Operations and will bring her expertise on stage to discuss building high performing teams.

Saoirse Womens Refuge

Our mission is to address and combat the crime of domestic abuse by providing a safe, supportive and confidential environment through our refuge accommodation, helpline and outreach service for women and children experiencing this crime everyday in Irish Society.

Our aim is to provide a safe and confidential support service and crisis accommodation for women and children suffering domestic abuse. Through our work we also address the prevention of domestic abuse in Irish society by working with an array of other agencies linked with families at risk and by providing information / support sessions to local groups.

Our objectives areTo reach as many families as possible suffering domestic abuse through our helpline, refuge and outreach services.

To provide a safe and comfortable space in refuge for distressed families forced to leave their home due to domestic abuse.

To address the individual needs of every family we work with by approaching their experiences where they are presently at.

To employ professional and skilled staff at all times with ongoing training provided to meeting the changing needs of our client base.

To maintain a confidential service for all our clients but also ensuring that we always work according to Children’s First.

To raise the issue of domestic abuse where ever possible in public forums to instigate discussion and change in a bid to stamp out this crime.
