Celebration of Ukrainian Food - Burren Slow Food Festival
Date and time
Two cookery demos featuring Ukrainian food with tasting of the food afterwards
About this event
This is a free event. Ticket "sale" has ended but feel free to come to the event anyway, we are sure you'll be able to enjoy it.
The third day of the Burren Slow Food Festival will be dedicated to Ukrainian food culture. Lisdoonvarna has welcomed many Ukrainians refugees in their midst and we want to give them a chance to show us about a piece of their culture.
The first cookery demo will be given by members of the Ukrainian community and will showcase an authentic dish from their home country.
Then, well-known chef Jess Murphy from Kai Restaurant will be cooking side by side with Niamh Fox (owner of former café Little Fox, Ennistymon). The food will be inspired by the Ukrainian food culture, and they will use local produce.
We are very much looking forward to tasting the outcome of this beautiful fusion!
1pm – Cookery demo & Tasting
