Mr Paul Darley-Member of the Board of Directors, W.S. Darley & Co
Paul C. Darley is Chairman, CEO & President of W.S. Darley & Co. He is a Past President of the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers Association (FAMA). He has visited fire services in over 80 countries. He holds a BS Degree in Marketing and Finance from Marquette University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He recently earned a two year post graduate degree in Emotional Intelligence from the University of Illinois. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for several civic, corporate and charitable organizations. In 2010, W.S. Darley & Co was named the Loyola University Illinois Family Business of the Year and was recognized by Marquette University as Alumnus Family Business of Year in 2009. He has numerous family business speaking engagements including “Resolving Sibling Conflict in Family Business” at the annual Family Business Magazine Conference.
Ms. Audrey Darley-Director of Vendor Relations (Defense Division)
Audrey Darley is the Director of Vendor Relations for Darley Defense, W.S. Darley & Co.’s rapidly growing Defense Division. Audrey, a 4th generation family member, joined the business in September 2014. Prior to transitioning to Vendor Relations in October 2015, Audrey worked as an OEM and Dealer Accounts Manager in the Fire Pump Sales Division. Audrey graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010 with a B.S. in Finance. Upon completion of her undergraduate program, Audrey went on to comply with the Company’s employment policy which requires family members to gain outside work experience before joining the business. She accepted a position at MB Financial Bank in Chicago where she served as a Commercial Credit Analyst from 2010-2012 followed by a Relationship Manager from 2012-2014.
Kevin O’Connor has been the Managing Director of Colourtrend, 64-year-old paint manufacturing and retail company, since 1988.The Irish, family owned organisation manufactures high quality decorative and industrial coatings for the Irish, UK and international markets. He holds a degree in Chemistry from Trinity College, Dublin and a MBA from Arizona State University.
Kevin has led Colourtrend from being product to market focused; he has modernised and professionalised the company while maintaining the key family values that define its culture. Kevin is happily married to Tamara and they have three daughters. In his free time his hobbies include golf, hillwalking and triathlons.
Rachel O’Connor is the Business Development Manager at Colourtrend, a 63-year-old paint manufacturing and retail company. The Irish, family owned, organisation manufactures high quality decorative and industrial coatings for the Irish, UK and international markets. Rachel holds an Engineering degree from Trinity College Dublin, and a Masters in Engineering Management from Duke University, North Carolina. Prior to joining Colourtrend, Rachel worked in Silicon Valley for a cloud storage company. In her free time, Rachel’s hobbies include travel, hiking, scuba-diving and running.
