Change Clothes Crumlin: Swap, Stitch + Socialise

When: Wednesday 2nd Nov, 6-9pm

Where: Social Iosagáin, Aughavannagh Road, Crumlin

Ticket Type 1: €10 Upcycling workshop + clothes swap

Ticket Type 2: €5 Just the clothes swap

Reduced rates available for children, unemployed, students, and people aged 65+

Both tickets types will also give access to:

• The Change Clothes Crumlin Exhibition: Learn more about creative alternatives to fast fashion and chat to the student designers from NCAD

• Stitch & Witch Social Space: Have a sit down and chat to others who are starting out (or maybe further along) on their clothing reuse journey. Try your hand at simple repairs.

• Mending Library: Create your own party bag of mending bits and bobs from our very own mending library

About the event:

*THE WORKSHOP* 6-7PM

Take part in an entry level upcycling workshop with experts from ReCreate Ireland.

Patch Prep: Make your own patches! Elevate any damaged clothing you might have by creating a design feature. Bring a damaged piece of clothing with you, all other repair materials will be provided as part of the workshop.

*THE SWAP SHOP* 7-9PM

Bring and item, swap and item - it’s that simple. Have shoes or clothes that you no longer love, but someone else might?

Swap them with us and exchange them for a ‘new to you’ item!

Please do bring

• Clothes, accessories & shoes

• Clean, and tear/hole free

• Good - new condition

• Women’s, men’s, unisex and kids clothes

• Items of ALL sizes

Please don't bring*

• Underwear / lingerie

• Household textiles (towels, bed linen etc.)

• Pyjamas / night wear

• Items with tears/holes

• Soiled, stained and/or damp items

*Please note items will be scanned on arrival and anything not meeting the criteria above will be returned to the attendee.

Change Clothes Crumlin is a new clothing reuse hub for the Crumlin area of Dublin.


We're creating a social community space for swapping, upcycling, mending, learning, and meeting like-minded people.

Everyone is welcome to take part. We encourage people of all genders, ages and backgrounds to come and swap with us.
