Using a selection of natural gathered materials and recycled old book pages you can create hanging paper angels, snowy owls and even Rudolf !

To prepare for the workshop gather a variety of pine cones, small twigs, feathers and any interesting natural materials you can find, and find an old reading book ready for recycling

(Access to a glue gun is preferable for parts of the workshop – supervision of use will be required for young children)

Materials:

• Natural gathered materials - pine cones, small light twigs, leaves, greenery etc
• A long straight branch ( approx 30 cm)
• String
• Glue stick
• Glue gun
• Cotton wool
• Old recycled reading book
• Recycled brown card
• Small piece of Red paper
• felt or fabric

Optional Extras ( but not necessary ) : Beads, ribbon, glitter, pom poms, white paint .

Guidelines:

• If you are reserving for more than one child but are using the one device you can reserve one place/ticket.
• Please list the names of all the children due to attend.
• The Zoom link will be sent via Eventbrite 24-48 hours before the event date.
• To prevent "Zoom-bombing", all sessions are password protected and the unique links and password to each individual session are only shared with those intended to participate.
• dlr Arts Office will send the invite link to a parent/carers email account using Eventbrite. We will never use the child’s personal email address.
• The 'waiting room' feature is enabled, meaning that anyone accessing the session has to be approved by the person 'hosting' the session. We will check your name against our bookings before admitting you to the workshop. This ensures all participants have booked for the event. For this reason, please ensure your ZOOM username/profile name matches the name used to book the event.
• dlr Arts Office settings do not allow for any file sharing
• dlr Arts Office settings do not allow users or participants to sign in using their social media to protect privacy
• Sessions will be ‘locked’ once all participants have arrived
• Chat save function is disabled
• Private chat is disabled
