Circular Bioeconomy Innovation Exchange: Food Industry By-Product and Waste Biomass
About this event
The Circular Bioeconomy Cluster at MTU is hosting a knowledge exchange event to share learnings from the Interegg SYMBIOMA Project: Technology Innovations and Business Models for Valorisation of Industrial Waste Biomass with the team from Atlantic Technological University.
The purpose of SYMBIOMA is to investigate food industry waste biomass valorisation turning waste and by-products into value-add bio-based products. The SYMBIOMA team will be presenting activities and results of the projects they have been engaging with, specific areas of focus are: Utilisation of Fish Industry Side Streams and Valorisation of Brewing and Distilling Side Streams.
This is also an opportunity to explore future potential collaborative proposals to support industry projects relating to Irish funding, EU HORIZON, ERASMUS+ and NPA calls.
