Cityscapes/Soundscapes

Inspired by the sights and sounds of the north inner city, participants will combine traditional media with a digital twist to create interactive posters that produce sound when touched. Starting with collecting images and audio of the city, we’ll use drawing, collage, and graphic design to show others what we found, and enhance the experience by creating electronic sensors that let them hear the sounds of the city as well as see them.

Be sure to bring along photocopies or printouts of any images you'd like to work with, as well as sound files in mp3 format on your phone or a USB key.

Open to participants from 14 to 18 years old.
