A seminar ‘Teachers Paying D Rate PRSI: How to secure a contributory state pension’ is taking place on Monday, 17th October 2016, 7pm, in the Cavan Education Centre, presented by Eoghan Mc Tiernan QFA. Eoghan has been providing financial advice to teachers in the Cavan/Monaghan area for the past 3 years.
Any teacher who started teaching before April 1995 and remained in continuous employment is on the D rate PRSI. At retirement, their pension is paid entirely by the Department of Education and therefore are not automatically entitled to a Contributory State Pension at age 66/67/68.
IPS Financial Advice can help teachers on the D Rate of PRSI secure a portion of the Contributory Pension from age 66/67/68.
This Pension could be worth from €1,500 per annum to €12,000 per annum.
Places are limited and registration is available on Eventbrite or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
