Join us to hear from some of Ireland's most prominent activists on issues of climate justice at international, national and local levels.

  • Eddie Mitchell ('Save Leitrim' and 'Love Leitrim' campaigns)

This event is the first in a series of free public lectures on the theme of Climate Justice, co-hosted by the Ryan Institute and the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

This promises to be a lively occasion with opportunity for audience Q&A. It is timed to coincide with several key events in Ireland and internationally, including the United Nations Global Climate Summit, the Global Climate Strike and the High Court judgment in Friends of the Irish Environment CLG v The Government of Ireland, Ireland and the Attorney General ('Climate Case Ireland').
