Cruinniú na nÓg at Uillinn


A gentle and soothing sound experience with songs to delight and engage very young children (0-5). Early Years artist and composer Fiona Kelleher, and Caoimhín Vallely, one of Ireland's foremost traditional piano players, come together to present new songs and melodies created specifically for very young audiences and their parents. 

Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland’s Creative Youth plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people. Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. For more about this unique national event go to

About the artists

Fiona Kelleher is an Early Years artist, composer and musician. She is one of the leading performing artists in Early Years in Ireland and has produced theatre experiences and musical performances for festivals and events for many years. She facilitates and mentors artists working in Early Years, composes new music for young audiences and continues to collaborate with artists of all disciplines  working with children. Caoimhín Vallely is one of Ireland's foremost traditional piano players with two highly acclaimed solo albums and an extensive touring career. He has collaborated with many great musicians over the years and continues to be a lead innovator in his musical field. He has collaborated with Fiona Kelleher on many projects and has arranged, recorded and performed for multiple  Early Years projects including I am a Little Boat . See more here :
