Event description
Explore Joyce’s Ulysses by walking in the Footsteps of Leopold Bloom

About this Event

In the Lestrygonians Episode of Joyce’s Ulysses Leopold Bloom makes his way through the city from Middle Abbey Street to the National Library.

It is coming up to lunchtime and Bloom’s thoughts are preoccupied with food. He famously stops in Davy Byrnes for a lunch of Gorgonzola cheese and burgundy.

Trish Cronin brings you on a tour following in his footsteps and the brass plaques marking his route. We will cover about 1.5 kilometres and it will take about 90 minutes.
