Description

We are delighted to invite you to our launch of the Co-Innovate Programme Business with Academia on Wednesday 26th September at IT Sligo.

Business with Academia is a three-way partnership between Companies, Academic Institutes and Project Associates to deliver a 12 month research and innovation project and will be of real interest to you. This is an opportunity for Academics to:

• Work with progressive SMEs.
• Receive up to 28 days costs to deliver projects.
• Publish Research papers for journals and conferences.
• Improve links between academic and business partners.
• Develop spin-out projects.
• Engage in real world problems.

There will be a wide variety of projects covering different areas within the manufacturing or tradeable services sectors, and the collaborations are designed to improve company's competitiveness, productivity and profitability.

Academic Institutes are a vital resource for business today. They are able to provide unique expertise and specialist knowledge to companies who need support to deliver research and innovation projects. For the Academic Institutes involved in the partnerships they are engaging in real-world problems and are able to develop relevant teaching and research material to bring back into academia from their experiences.
