Co-Navigating Anxiety with your Child builds on what you learnt in the previous workshop and explores resilience, trust and self-esteem.
About this event
This workshop is designed for parents and co-parents who have completed Navigating Anxiety in your Child Workshop and are:
- Applying their learning in their parent child relationship when anxiety appears.
- Have taken time to explore their personal discoveries from reflective exercises and are reducing their part in fuelling feelings of anxiety.
- Feeling confident in applying their new ways of responding to anxiety AND in their interacting with their child when they are feeling anxious.
- Utilising therapeutic tools for themselves AND their child when anxiety appears.
In this workshop you are:
- Getting clearer on what regulation is and how by co-regulating with your child you are teaching them to self-regulate. A skill for life!
- Understanding how your parent child relationship is your child’s best defence system navigating and managing feelings of anxiety.
- Exploring how you form, develop and maintain trust with your child.
- Learning new ways to respond and interact with your child that build independence, self-esteem, confidence, problem solving and resilience.
- Engaging in reflective exercises.
- Gaining additional therapeutic tools for you and your child.
- I’ll share whole child recommendations I use in my practice and in my online parenting/co-parenting support.
- Receive fun, easy, inexpensive and therapeutic based play ideas to enhance your parent child relationship.
- Q&A. You can submit questions once you are enrolled and I can answer anonymously during the workshop.
