UCD's Centre for Disability Studies and St Michael's House are delighted to celebrate their 10-year Memorandum of Understanding on International Disability Day, December 3rd. Prof. Angela Hassiotis, Professor in Intellectual Disability in the Division of Psychiatry at UCL, will provide a keynote address on the gains from collaborative research within the academic and disability fields.This seminar will be of interest to those working in both disability organisations and academic settings who wish to foster greater collaborative links.
Meet and greet with refreshments at 09.30am, launch of event at 10am, talks on a variety of initiatives reflecting collaboration between UCD Centre for Disability Studies and St Michael’s House from 10.30am onward, Keynote by Professor Angela Hassiotis at 12.15pm entitled Setting up a collaborative research agenda with stakeholders in Intellectual Disabilities, seminar closes at 1pm with lunch.
