About this event

Dublin City Council is delighted to present our developmental Early Years Arts programme in partnership with The Ark. Over the summer, children aged 2-4 and their families will enjoy a feast of visual arts, drama and storytelling and dance.

Exploring colour and texture, children are guided in creating their own collaged visual story of a bee’s adventures, such as pollinating plants, doing a bee dance or making honey. For the online workshop you will need to gather some simple materials from home: paper (different colours if you have them), old magazines or newspapers, cereal boxes, sticky tape, glue and markers.Suitable for children age 2-4 years.

Online platform: The online workshops will be delivered using the Zoom video call software. It will be necessary to download this free software in advance of your workshop. For safety reasons and to support your participating child, a parent or grown-up must be present in the room throughout all activities and workshops. Parents are welcome to participate.

Children’s Art in Libraries Creative Hubs sustain high quality arts experiences for children, schools and families to access in their library and locality, through partnership. Brought to you by Dublin City Arts Office and Libraries.
