Event description

About this event

A practical, hands on workshop on how to make a comic strip. The workshop will cover all aspects, from coming up with ideas to the finished artwork. Participants will be encouraged to create stories that draw from their own lives and experience, but will ultimately be able to tell whatever kind of story they want to tell.

No art or writing experience or expertise is required. The workshop aims to give each participant all the tools necessary to create their own comic strip.

Facilitators:

Colin O' Mahoney - comic book writer and editor.

Mari Rolin - comic book artist and illustrator

Length: 1 and half hours

Part of Cork City Libraries' October Children's Book Festival.
