Trainer:

John Warren, JE Warren Consulting has undergone extensive training in areas such Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Board Management, Fundraising, Risk Management, Operations and Financial Planning. John was CEO of Educate Through Sport Foundation (2005-2015) being a national charitable organisation (with an international affiliation) working with young people in many counties around Ireland. In October 2015, John graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with a BA in Community Education & Development and completed a course on Trusteeship, Governance and Regulation with the Law Society of Ireland in early 2016.

Most recently, he has completed a Level 7 Certificate in Training and Continuing Education with NUI Maynooth. John has extensive experience in working with groups of all sizes from the community, voluntary and charity sector in support of their governance and compliance requirements. He is an active member in his own community and has served on numerous committees and is a former board member of a leading children’s charity. He also had a long and distinguished career in the commercial sector.
