I am doing this study to determine the sense of community within the Deaf community in Ireland. This online survey is a preliminary one and has been completed. There is not much research work on how members of the Deaf community feel about their community and their involvement in it. It is hoped that results will lead to more research and more in-depth community dialogue of how it can develop in the years to come.

399 responded to the online anonymous survey but 270 completed in full.

The response is still being analysed and ongoing.

As part of the community dialogues, initial and subsequent findings will be the topics.
