Well, here is a programme that will help you to up your game and be and look much more professional when performing as a community interpreter.

You will also learn how to prepare for your interpreting assignments, what to expect from them, and how to develop your interpreting business.

This program consists of three modules. You are welcome to attend any one or two modules that are of interest to you. However, all three levels are mandatory if you want to receive a certificate.

What is community interpreting?

Community interpreting is an umbrella term that covers interpreting in public service settings, such as healthcare (hospitals, doctors' appointments), law enforcement (police and court), immigration (refugee centres), housing, welfare, and so on.

Some examples will be given in relation to the Irish healthcare, welfare and law enforcement systems (as TRANSLIT is an Irish-based company).
