Event description
A pop in session where we will explore grief and loss through creativity

About this event

What is it?

During the sessions Rebecca Strain will be working with handmade paper and Martha McCulloch will be working with photo albums and together they will be making photographic journals of people they have lost.

Participants are welcome to pop in at any time or attend on a weekly basis. Participants are welcome to make their own books or or simply to be present and observe the making process.

The aim of the project is to create a safe space where we can talk about loss and grief, share our experiences and learn how to deal with loss as individuals and as a community.

Who's running it?

The project is the result of research by Irish Hospice Foundation and funded by Creative Ireland.

Where and When?

We are starting the Compassionate Culture Network on Wednesday 3rd November from 12.30pm to 3pm at St Mary's Hall in Buncrana.
