Join us for this free online session to discuss and learn about composting for communities.

This session is suitable for anyone interested in composting as part of a community garden, Tidy Towns group, residents' association or any other group of people might manage green waste.

We will cover:

  • The Benefits of Composting for Community Groups
  • Systems Best Suited to Group Composting
  • Common Problems and How to Avoid Them

This session will be delivered by Betty Kehoe of Composting Ireland and is a follow on from "Composting for Everyone".

Betty is an experienced landscaper, garden designer, GIYer and community trainer. She is passionate about composting and the environmental benefits it brings.

This event will be delivered by Composting Ireland, hosted by top of the City Community Garden and funded by Waterford City and County Council.
