Event description
Let's get down to business. It's time for some serious business.

About this event

As we look forward to the economy starting to open up properly again, the next series of Networking @ Noon will be focused on getting down to business.

These events will be a little more hard edged than those you have been used to in the past. The more social side of networking will still be a strong part of what CEN stands for, but other CEN events will cater for that aspect of networking eg FNL.

Each event in this series will be tightly run and will be focused entirely on promoting collaboration and the sharing of real business opportunities between members. We will be there to give you support and advice to get the best out of the events, but if you are going to attend you will have to be ready to throw yourself into it.

Be prepared and think about your “asks” and your “gives” in advance so you are ready to go from the start. Think about what kind of referral would be good for you to receive, and also who you know that would be good to put someone else in touch with. We all have networks already in place, it’s time to learn how to use them properly! It's time to learn how to promote each other properly.

As this is a more serious event, we are going to be a little tougher with the guidelines and expectations. This is to make sure that everyone gets the most out of it and to ensure that you all get an equal opportunity to benefit. So here is how it’s going to work:

  • Tickets close out 24 hours before the event starts.
  • Numbers will be limited. This is to keep it focused with equal benefits.
  • If you book a ticket and something comes up, you must cancel your ticket via Eventbrite, do not contact the organiser. Same as you would if looking for a refund. Treat free events with courtesy and respect please.
  • No shows will not be tolerated, and a fee will be due from those who don’t turn up without cancelling their ticket*
  • If you attend, be present. Cameras on and stay engaged at all times
  • If you do run a commercial network or group, you are welcome to take part, but please play fair and return the favour to CEN. How can you reciprocate our hospitality and support in your network?
  • The zoom link will be emailed 30 minutes prior to the event, and only registered attendees will be allowed to take part in the event.
  • CEN is committed to helping its members to build meaningful networks and to learn how to make the best use of them, promoting business growth, community engagement and a strong social community for its members.

It’s time to get serious about networking!

* If you have been a previous no show and would like to be part of CEN and its growth, settle your outstanding no show fees and respect our efforts and we would be delighted to see you again*
