Event description
Housekeeping Workshop designed to equip attendees with hands-on knowledge of best practice in collections care.

About this Event

Conservation Letterfrack in partnership with Russborough have designed the day to equip attendees with practical knowledge and experience in collections care. In the first session the six main ‘agents of deterioration’ will be explored: relative humidity, light, pests, dust, mechanical damage and mould. Attendees will learn how to manage these factors to slow down deterioration. For the remaining sessions you will take part in demonstrations and hands-on activity with our line-up of professional conservators, trying out handling and cleaning techniques for yourself.
