Continuum Youth Choir Christmas Concert

Fresh from their recent success performing in International Choral competitions in Latvia and Derry, Continuum Youth Choir return home to Dublin for a magical evening of Christmas carols and music.

Continuum Youth Choir was formed in September 2018 and comprises girls and boys who were members of St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Girls’ Choir and the Palestrina Choir in the Pro-Cathedral in Dublin. In August 2022 they performed at the Riga Sings Festival where they achieved first place in the Youth Choir of Mixed Voices competition and first place in the Sacred Choral Music competition. In September 2022 the choir returned to the Derry International Festival and achieved first place in three competitions – Sacred Music, Youth Choir and Mixed Voices and they achieved joint second place in the Pop Music, Jazz and Gospel choir category. The choir also won the inaugural National Choir of the Festival.

Choral Director Blanaid Murphy has put together a wonderful programme of carols and contemporary Christmas music which will make a lovely start to Christmas week. The MC for the evening will be Evonne Ferguson, with Ksenia Walsh accompanying on piano and Blanaid conducting, this promises to be a truly magical evening.
