Course in PHILOSOPHY FOR LIVING

We have been in confinement for several weeks now, in accordance with measures taken by the government since March 17th.

More and more of you are sharing with us your need to exchange, to reflect on the post-confinement process, as well as on the meaning to give to this experience in our lives.

Faced with uncertainty, illness, the death of a loved one or the economic difficulties caused by confinement, the need to derive meaning from all this is immense. And before answering ‘how’ we are going to go about resuming our lives, many rightly ask the question of ‘why?’.

Questioning the meaning of things, giving meaning to our choices, to our lives, living according to what is essential for us: this is the whole reason philosophy exists.

This art of living according to what is essential is our speciality at New Acropolis. More than that, it is our reason for being.

This is why we have been teaching for over 60 years around the world, and this is why we continue, tirelessly, to open schools of philosophy in the 21st century, where everything is going too fast, where neither Nature nor the nature of the human being are taken into consideration or respected.

For all these reasons, we have decided to open a new cycle of practical online philosophy classes, in order to live this experience of confinement and post confinement in a different way.
