Mindfulness, gratitude, self-compassion, understanding & releasing stress using EFT, our supports & strengths, what makes our heart sing

About this event

'We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty ' - Maya Angelou

• Are you feeling stressed?

• Are you fed up with feeling restricted by Covid?

• Would you like to feel more calm in your life?

Covid to Calm was specifically designed to address some of the challenges around living in lockdown and to help people develop the tools to release stress and anxiety.

In a relaxed, supportive environment we will:

Learn about mindfulness and its many benefits for our mental wellbeing.

Learn how practicing gratitude can help you to feel more positive emotions.

Explore what happens when we’re stressed, because understanding stress can help us develop self-awareness and self-compassion.

Over the course of the program, you will learn techniques to release stress and feel calmer and better able to deal with life. We will look at what happens when we are stressed and what is within our control to change. Then we will use EFT (tapping), a simple yet powerful practice that will help us to bring about those changes.

Some of the topics we’ll cover include:

Mindfulness

Gratitude

Self-compassion - being kind to yourself

Understanding stress

Using EFT (tapping) to release stress and bring more calm

Exploring our supports & strengths

Discovering what makes our hearts sing

This past year, many of us have lived restricted lives. Living in lockdown, keeping apart from our friends and loved ones, uncertain as to when normal life would resume. All of this has taken its toll on us, so it’s important to be gentle with ourselves as we slowly venture back out into the world.

Over two Sunday mornings, Sara will share lots of tips and tools to help you relax, feel good about yourself, and become more aware of what you might be needing to move positively forward, no matter what life presents.

One of the core foundations of this program is self-compassion, because developing a positive relationship with yourself is the first step to improving your confidence and self-esteem.

We will explore and identify your strengths and your supports, and discover what makes your heart sing. This program is about helping you to feel good about yourself, because making positive changes in your life begins from a place of self love and acceptance.

As an extra bonus, course participants will receive an email between sessions with further tips and resources, and an exclusive EFT tapping video created specifically for this course.

Sara’s classes have a very friendly atmosphere and there is a diverse range of learning methods. It is very participative, and it is a space where community is created and everyone has a sense that they matter. The focus is not so much about learning the concepts - rather it is about integrating self-compassion into your life, as a lifelong tool, helping you create a happier and more fulfilling life.
