Headliner - Edwin Sammon

Edwin Sammon's unpredictable and immensely likeable style saw audiences award him the Tedfest Golden Toilet Duck in 2011 for best comedian. On TV screens he took over the news desk co-presenting and writing on Republic Of Telly and is known for his scene stealing turn as Fr. Gabriel in four seasons of the IFTA award-winning Bridget and Eamon. The Offaly native has supported Jason Byrne, Fred Cooke and Ardal O'Hanlon on their nationwide tours and performed at every major festival and club in the country. In 2013 Edwin was part of the sold out, nationwide Lads Of Comedy tour. He debuted his first solo special - Edwin Sammon vs Cancer - last year which chronicled his battle with the disease in a heartfelt and honestly funny manner.
