Creating Lifelong Rhymers: Exploring Nursery Rhymes for Baby and Toddler Room Early Educators
About this event
Creating Lifelong Rhymers is a new element of the Creating Lifelong Readers programme and has been developed for early educators working with children aged 6 months - 2 years. The 2-hour workshop will discuss how to promote literacy in the very early years, age-appropriate books and the importance of nursery rhymes for developing literacy and language development with young children. Part of this CLR programme will involve sharing nursery rhymes weekly with parents, with resources and a story sack included per service free! The library services will also attend to give information on library services available to childcare services. This is a CYPSC (Children and Young Peoples Services Committee) initiative.
Venue to be confirmed.
