A day of creativity, critical-thinking and practical learning on Global Citizenship Education (GCE) & the revised Primary Arts Curriculum.

The Global Village Teach Meet 2026 invites primary school teachers from across Ireland to gather on Monday 19th January 2026 at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, for a day of creativity, critical thinking, and practical learning.

With the theme “Creative Approaches to Global Citizenship Education: Teaching for Justice & Belonging,” this year’s event will explore how the revised Primary Arts Education Curriculum can serve as a powerful vehicle for Global Citizenship Education (GCE). The focus will be on practical methodologies, addressing the root causes of global issues, and creating meaningful local-to-global connections in the classroom.

*Limited cost of substitute cover available and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

**Ticket cost will be reimbursed through resources provided at the event.
