Amy Bond is a librarian and children's author based in Dublin. Her debut novel Morgana Mage in the Robotic Age was shortlisted for the Times/Chicken House Children's Fiction Competition, and published in 2021.

In this session she will give an overview of her book, and its inspiration and themes. She will also discuss the power of creativity in shaping the world around us, and the power of imagination in driving technological advancements. Participants will then explore creating their own inventions and how to shape a story around these.

This session will be suitable for 8-12 year olds.
